jeff is right but have you considered the electric comsumption?
any way the use more electricity because the heat water in a very short period of time. as soon as you turn on the shower you’ll have hot water in just a few seconds.
simple advice. compute the friquency you use and how long you use the heater per day. multiply that with the power rating. estimate how many gallons of water do you use.
now compare that with a tank water heater. then you can decide which is better.

the only downfall is GPMs, i just had one installed at a home that was 900$ and put out 6 GPM, thats enough for one major water source at once. if you have no options for gas, they are great, but, if your doing your whole house, wise to have a few of them.
